The drill bit came out several times during the first use and it is easy for the small hex screws to fall out and get lost. Bought this to replace a Makita driver kit that worked well for many years. This product works but I expected DeWalt products to be much better. The Makita kit I used before had a hex wrench built in to the driver so you would have to worry about losing the provided wrench. The quick release was not positive nor easy to secure. I expected more from DeWalt products.
Works like a charm. I've always use it to predrill when driving screws. This is my second purchase. I owned one for over five years until I dropped it and bent the shaft.
